Remove Chroma noise with photoshop

Lately, I’ve been looking at noise ninja (a plugin for photoshop that removes digital noise from photographs) because my wife’s camera seems to take very noisy pictures. Then, I came across this cool tutorial that shows how to remove the noise without a plugin. I’m going to give this a shot on some photos later today and post the results. Below are the results the top photo is the before and the second photo is the after.

    These two photos ended up being a bad example especially on a CRT monitor. I can tell a bigger difference on my LCD at home, but still it is not a huge difference. I’ll have to do it again with a better example.
