Add hotmail to your gmail account… finally

Found this out via lifehacker, but you can now enable POP3 in your Hotmail accounts. I don’t like wasting time by logging in to several different webmail clients to check my mail so I add as many as I can to my Gmail account. However, Yahoo only allows you to enable POP3 if you have the upgraded mail servce and until now Hotmail didn’t let you do it at all that I could find.

I’m sorry that this comment has pretty much nothing to do with the post, but I just had a question. How does having a famous sister affect your life at all? Is it a bit weird? I’m just a little interested. Email me the answers or leave them in this comments section, either one is all right. Of course, you don’t have to if you don’t want to.

Ya I use yahoo and it’s kind of a drag since POP3 is used with linking to mobile devices (Not about to pay for mail). I have like 10 emails so it’s kind of essential for me. I do have a custom email that links to Yahoo though so it’s kind of backwards compatible without the upgrade. As to the above post, meh. (Nice question though compared to, unlike “omg ur her brother??can i has her email??)

^Yeah I’m not a creep/stalker or anything. Sorry if the comment was lame.^

@moose The only thing that changed is that when we go out in public people ask for pictures and autographs. I don’t know if you have a sibling, but if you do try and imagine what it would be like if they were on TV. It isn’t really a big deal to you because you have known them their whole life. The only other affect on my life that I can think of is that sometimes we get to go to movie premiers or tapings of shows that she is going to be on.

@Kevin M. Yeah I tried to see if I could setup forwarding even on yahoo mail and you can’t even do that without upgrading :(

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it. Nice dog, by the way :) . Just another question: I have no doubt that you love her and all of that, but is it slightly annoying that she gets so much attention, does it slow things down a bit? I’m not suggesting that your jealous or that you wish she wasn’t in that position, I’m just wondering from a factual standpoint. Thanks, again. Email me or leave it here, or you don’t have to answer.

Sorry about the above comment, it was a mistake. I just had another question, which, of course, as always, you don’t have to answer, but if you do, here or email is fine. Do autograph seekers get in the way sometimes? Are they slightly annoying? I’m not implying that you don’t like her having fame, or love her any less, I’m not implying anything, the last thing that I want to do is offend somebody. Thanks for answering on the last post, very nice of you. Of course, if you get annoyed of my questions, you could just give me her address, but I’m sure she wouldn’t really wanna talk to me, so I decided I’d come to you with my questions. Thanks a lot, for everything.

Jennette really likes to sign autographs for her fans and it isn’t annoying, but sometimes if we are going through a public place and need to be somewhere at a certain time we just have to leave a bit earlier in case people want some signatures. So yeah I would say that it does slow things down a bit, but usually only when we stop if we are just walking around most people are not really paying attention, but once a few people stop and ask for a picture or autograph then others notice. Usually, people kind of recognize her, but they aren’t really certain it is her so they either keep walking or look from a distance then muster up the courage to come up and say hi. I like it when a little kid notices her and says to their mom “Look it’s Sam from iCarly!” and the parents don’t really heard it and think they are imagining it then they look and realize it is her.

Thanks for answering a lot, I find it interesting. You know, never really had the chance to hear about how celebs live and all of that, especially that it’s just getting about that time where there are celebrities that are actually, like, my age. It’s cool. Thanks a lot, again.

  • i was looking for this for about an hour last week
