The place is a small park that has examples of different types of gardens from different places in the world. This waterfall was in the Japanese garden area of the park. They also have an Italian, Spanish, and rose garden. It is free to get in and is a nice place to visit for about an hour. Taken with a Canon XSi using a Sigma 10-20mm lens at 11mm f/13 1/8 sec iso 100.

I took this picture around the block from my house when I was on a walk with my two dogs. I’m not sure what kind of red flower this is, but I liked how the red of the flower went with the green of the bushes. I decided to take my camera with me pretty much everywhere I go because everytime I don’t have it I see something I want to take a shot of then regret not having it with me. It is kind of hard to get a clean shot with my dogs sniffing around everywhere though, but hopefully they will learn to hold still.
