I remember being excited about getting a new 14.4, 28.8 and 56k modems back in the day, but that is about as far back as I can remember. I remember the first time I listened to an mp3 and ironically it was Metallica's Enter Sandman. In the early days it seemed like almost everyone had AOL and those AOL CDs were ubiquitous. Now, it is kind of lame to use AOL and I shudder a bit when someone's email address is @aol.com. I have fond memories of Friendster and I remember the days before P2P and the first time I heard about bit torrent. The internet has come a long way in a short amount of time. I wonder what the future holds in store for the Internet.

Grungy, Greasy, Grimey, and best of all free!
I just found this really cool free grunge texture photo site called Urban Dirty. I checked out some of the textures and they look really top-notch.

del.icio.us fever!
I really don’t know how this obsession got started, but let me begin by explaining it. For some reason I feel this need to bookmark and save all the cool sites on the internet that I find. I use at least 3 different computers during the day and a combination of IE (only when I have no other choice) and Firefox. This would pose a problem if it wasn’t for the wonderful social bookmarking site http://del.icio.us/. I don’t even remember how I found this site, but it is an amazing site. If you don’t know what it is all about well let me explain a little bit. (more…)

Web Design
Web design tutorials are pretty much ubiquitous on the web presently. The problem I have is not the actual design, but it is coming up with what to design. If someone came up to me and told me exactly what they wanted a page to look like I could make it. I just can’t ever come up with anything that I like for myself.
